It's time to celebrate

Celebrate your shiny, new #NYCTri Finisher title at the post-race Finish Festival! Take a moment to visit our sponsors and vendors sampling their products and offering specials after the race. Don’t forget to stop by the Official NYC Tri merchandise tent for something to commemorate your accomplishment.

FINISH LINE

Upon completion of the race, athletes will encounter the following stations as they make their way through the Finish chute. Once an athlete exits the chute, they will not be allowed back in.

Hydration Water and Gatorade will be available to athletes in the Finish chute to re-hydrate post-race.

Medals Finisher medals will be distributed inside the chute for both International distance and Duathlon distance athletes. Please ensure you approach the correct distribution area corresponding to your race and be ready to show your bib to volunteers supporting the distribution.

Timing Chip Drop All athletes must remove their timing chip from their ankle and drop in the buckets available within the Finish chute. Volunteers will be present to remind athletes to do so prior to exiting.

Post-Race Athlete Food Pre-bagged, grab and go athlete food as well as water and Gatorade will be available in the Finish chute prior to exiting.

Photo Opps Stop before you exit the finish chute get your Finisher picture snapped by photographers from Marathon-Photos. Or visit one of our selfie stations near Athlete Baggage – smile big and tag us on social media!

Entertainment Celebrate your accomplishment at the Naumburg Bandshell with music by BOD! Be sure to visit some of our partners and vendors before heading to bike checkout (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)

Life Time Recovery Zone After you cross the finish line, head over to the Life Time Recovery Zone in the Finish Festival to recharge your muscles. Life Time certified Dynamic Personal Trainers will provide assisted stretching, Hyperice® Vibration Therapy and NormaTec® Compression.

RESULTS

Access your results directly from your mobile phone by scanning the QR codes posted on signage throughout the Finish area, or by visiting our Results page.

PHOTOS

Marathon Photos will provide race photography before, during and after the race. Please make sure your race numbers (body marking, bike and bib numbers) are visible at all times so you can be identified , preferably body marking tattoos on the upper front portion of the arms, and the bib number on the front upper portion of the leg. Photos and athlete dashboards will be posted within 24 – 48 hours of the event, and official Finisher Certificates will be available to download for free.

AWARDS

Top performing athletes in their division and age group will receive their awards post-race. Overall awards for the Pro and Paratri races will be announced at the Main Stage. Additional Overall awards and Age Group awards will be available for pickup at the Results tent.

*All awards must be picked up at the Finish Festival. Awards not picked up may be mailed within the continental US for an additional fee; mailing requests must be made within one-month post-race (cutoff November 1, 2023).

ATHLETE BAGGAGE PICKUP

Remember to pick up your belongings that you checked in at the Swim Start Baggage Drop! The Baggage tent will be located on the southeast end of the venue near the Family Reunion area.

*Please be mindful of your valuables. We recommend you leave your valuables at home. The race will not be liable for any lost or stolen items Personal Belongings. Anything you take with you on the course must remain in your possession. No garbage, clothing, etc may be thrown on the course nor throughout the race venue.

POST-RACE SHUTTLES

Athletes may hop on the complimentary post-race shuttles from Finish to Transition 8:00 am – 11:00 am.

All bikes/equipment MUST be picked up from Transition between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on Sunday, October 1. Times subject to change.

CHILDREN / PETS

Parents, please supervise your children at all times. The race site and course are busy and potentially dangerous areas. We recommend to leave pets at home If there are any pets on site, we ask that they are leashed at all times. It will be warm so please ensure you take all measures to keep children and pets cool and hydrated.

LOST & FOUND

Lost items should be turned in or claimed at the Information tent in the Finish Area. Unclaimed items will be relocated to the Life Time office following the event and donated after 1 week to a local charity.
