Volunteer Team Captains

Volunteer Team Captains (VTC) are responsible for a specific area or task.  They act as a part of Race Management and therefore have significantly more responsibility than a regular volunteer.  All VTC's receive free entry into the following years race.  If the position requires volunteers, the VTC will be their direct contact on race weekend. Upon accepting a VTC position, we will schedule a site visit to go over the specifics of the job in that area.  Depending on the position, VTCs will be required to attend a pre-race meeting with their volunteers on Saturday morning.  All VTCs will be required to go on a site visit with Race Management prior to the race.
Previous NYC Triathlon race experience is a plus.
