The 2008 Nautica New York City Triathlon features a Professional Athlete race.  All professionals enter through a private registration link.

The Pro Entry fee is $185.  If you ARE NOT a pro triathlete, and you register as such, your entry fee WILL NOT be refunded, and you WILL NOT be permitted to compete as a pro or amateur in the 2008 Nautica New York City Triathlon.

Prize Purse: breakdown is as follows
(Males and Females split equally):

1st: $8,000
2nd: $4,000
3rd: $2,000
4th: $1,000
5th: $500

Additionally, the top three finishing 2008 male and female pro's will receive complimentary entry and two complimentary hotel room nights for the 2009 triathlon.  These are for the qualifying athletes only and are non-transferable.
