That’s why we’ve created the Janus Peak Performance Challenge, a race within a race created specifically for financial professionals who are registered for the 2013 New York City Triathlon.

What is the Janus Peak Performance Challenge?
The Janus Peak Performance Challenge is a friendly competition for financial professionals that differentiates better from best. Available at no additional cost -- it is designed for both seasoned and first time triathletes who are looking for a unique way to develop an edge and reach the top of their performance goals.

Who can participate in the Janus Peak Performance Challenge?
The Janus Peak Performance Challenge is open only to registered competitors in the 2013 New York City Triathlon whose firm’s primary business is financial services and who are also financial professionals.*

What are the perks?
The biggest reward will be the personal satisfaction that comes from completing the race. But if that’s not enough, all participants will also receive:

- Limited Edition Janus Peak Performance Challenge Tri Tank
- Headsweats race hat
- A customizable online training program by expert endurance coach Troy Jacobson. With modules for  both beginners and experienced athletes, you’ll get everything you need to insure your success at the race.
- Access to a premiere VIP tent at the Finish Line Festival for yourself and two guests.

What’s the Challenge?
Janus will present awards to the top three male and female finishers for overall time at the awards ceremony after the race.   The First Place female and male finisher will also receive a complimentary entry into the 2014 New York City Triathlon.

To support our corporate goals of giving back to the communities where our constituents live and work, this year Janus will award the First Place Male and Female Finishers a $1,000 prize to be given to the charity of their choice.

When is the registration deadline?
Register by May 17, 2013 to take advantage of the full benefits of this program. Online Registration will be open until  until July 5, 2013.  After this date, visit the Janus Booth at the Race Expo to register on site.

* For the purposes of this program, the Financial Services Industry is defined as the industry encompassing asset, money or wealth management, investment advisement and investment management and, investment banking firms or commercial banks that provide non-investment-type financial services.
