Deferral Process  

Athletes who defer their registration receive the opportunity to sign up for the 2011 Nautica New York City Triathlon before registration opens to the general public. All deferred athletes will receive an e-mail in October 2010 with pre-registration information. Athletes must register during the Early Entry Week to be assured of a spot for 2011.

Please note that if you defer your registration, you WILL NOT receive a refund, nor will your 2010 entry fee be transferred to 2011. There is no deferral fee, but deferred athletes must pay the regular registration fee when registering for the 2011 Nautica NYC Triathlon.

No-Transfer Policy

The Nautica New York City Triathlon has a strict no-transfer policy. Athletes may not give or sell their entry to anyone else. Any athlete who is found to have given away or sold their race entry will be permanently banned from competing in the Nautica New York City Triathlon.

Please note that IDs will be checked at both packet pickup and at bike check-in.  Additionally, "permanent clasp" wristbands will be placed on all athletes at packet pickup.   Athletes will not be able to participate in the race if this band becomes lost or broken.
