The top three male and female Elite Age Group finishers automatically qualify for the 2010 Toyota US Open Triathlon in Dallas. The US Open is the Championship for the Life Time Fitness Series. Qualifiers receive free entry into the Toyota US Open Triathlon plus a $500 travel voucher!

2010 Elite Age Group Race Information:

1. Qualifying Times: 2:15:00 for men, 2:30:00 for women. You must provide a results link from an Olympic distance triathlon from the past year.   

2. Mandatory briefing: Age Group Elites must attend a briefing.  You can choose to attend any one of the regular age group briefings held every half hour at the Expo or the Professional Athlete briefing on Saturday, July 17, at 4:00pm at the Hilton New York (Hall of the Americas 1 located within the Expo)

3. Dive start – men and women in two seperate waves.

4. Elite competitors are not eligible for age group awards.

5. The top three men and top three women automatically qualify for the US Open. There will be an automatic roll down.

6. The overall age group winners come from this group regardless of the fastest age group times. The winning elite male wins the men’s race. The winning elite woman wins the women’s race.

7. Elite athletes are eligible for the Janus FEC and Ivy Champs awards.
